You can literally walk through large parts of levels by just holding down the trigger. Another good weapon for doing a quick "burst" of damage against a boss then jumping away to reload.įlamethrower (100) - Chest Height/Medium Range/Line - Excellent weapon for clearing out rows of enemies. Pump-Action Shotgun (8/32) - Chest Height/Melee Range - Same mechanics as the Shotgun but much lower damage, but you do get 8 shots before having to reload so you can "stun-lock" enemies for all 8 shots. Another very good weapon for taking out enemies at far range. You can get several headshot with only one shot as this will travel through enemies if it kills them. Magnum (6/24) - Headshot Height/Long Range - Very high damage single shot weapon. Good for doing lots of damage quickly at long range. Machine Gun (50/200) - Chest Height/Long Range - Rapid fire long range weapon. There's also an achievement tied to clearing a level using only this weapon (or no weapons). Useful on bosses and good on clearing out enemies swarming you. Very high area damage at very short range. Shotgun "Lupara" (2/24) - Chest Height/Melee Range - The second weapon you will find. Damage output is low per shot but infinite ammo is well, infinite. You can also easily get 50 headshots in a row on either level 2 or 3 with this weapon. The fact that you get infinite ammo and it fires at headshot height for long range makes it your ideal weapon for the first few levels. Pistol (12/Inifinite) - Headshot Height/Long Range - Your basic starting weapon. Weapon (Clip Size/Maximum Ammo) - Firing Height/Range - Description Finally, I'm listing their default firing height, and also a description of how useful I found them to be. Each gun has a clip size, which you will need to reload once empty, as well as a maximum number of ammo. The guns don't have names in-game, therefore I'm making an attempt as to what they're supposed to be. What follows is a description of each of the guns. Therefore it is to your advantage to always aim for the head. This is very important, as any shot that hits an enemies head, counts as a headshot and does double damage. The game contains a total of 9 different "guns", that you'll unlock as you progress through the story mode. As with the Molotov, the throwing arc is fixed, but the longer you hold the button, the farther you will throw the grenade. This will explode where it lands, causing a large amount of instant damage that will kill most weaker enemies instantly. Throws a grenade (assuming you have one). The throwing arc is fixed, but the longer you hold the button, the farther you will throw the Molotov. This will set the area where it hits on fire, and burn for some time, setting enemies that pass through it on fire as well. Throws a Molotov Cocktail (assuming you have one).

Allows you to switch between any of the weapons you possess. You will also use this very extensively when required for a few achievements. You will use this a lot to fend off zombies that are closing in on you, and to stun them so you can finish them off with other weapons. You can also kick down barriers and doors.

Enemies will be briefly stunned after you do so, allowing you to "stun-lock" them by repeatedly kicking them.

You can use kicks to push enemies away from you when they get too close to you.

Keep this in mind if you are going for headshots. Pressing will make you crouch, which changes the height you shoot at.
